I would pay INSTANTLY if I could fax other document types such as PDF. SInce Apple doesn't have iPhones set up for document storage, perhaps access docs as attachments to email, or via website.

we are a great fan of QuickOffice for the iPhone - It would be awesome to be able to fax whatever docs / invoices we are working on using this great app of yours - Would this be possible? I can copy n paste infor into iFax but there seems to b a limit, then things are cutoff

We've had problems pasteing info into the text page of your app (2nd screen) - pasteing will occur however not all the info can fit on the page provided by your app, another page is needed but can't see how that can b done - but - to send out a word or excell doc created from QuickOffice should solve that problem

This came after I hit send - THEN received a 5mb warning. Now what? I don't know if it WILL be sent. I don't know if the 5mb warning means that I need to do something!? Is it okay for me to close the app? Is it okay for me to turn off my iPhone? Can I power down my iPhone (just sent fax - getting on plane)? MORE help/status please. Thanks

I've tried to send 3 faxes and PAID for all of them and it says the number I'm typing in is invalid. I know that to be wrong since it's my own. And now it started saying something about it not being a test account and something about a sandbox. What's going on with this? 4$ for something that doesn't work is not quite fair is it?

Sending a PDF i guess is cool but how pratical is that really, Faxing usually requires adding something to a document before sending thats why If they can make it fax a multi page doc from QuickOffice doc's or Docs to Go, Then this would be another app the iPhone should not be without. If you can't create and/or edit a doc then fax it out, then what good is sending the doc ... image taking of a doc makes it to small for the receiver to do anything with...... If they get this right - their orders would be flying off the shelves!

iFax is available for sale on the UK iTunes Store, but the app will only work in the USA. You should not be selling apps in countries where the app won't work.

A work-around for sending a PDF (or any kind of file) using ifax
1. Locate the file you want to include in your fax so you can view it on your iPhone screen
2. Press the iPhones on/off button at the top left of the iPhone at the same time press the function button ( thats the one under the "space" bar in your texting screen)
3. When you press them at the same time it will create a copy of what you see and send it (as if it's a photograph) to your photo album folder.
4. When iPhone asks if you want to include a photo go to your photo album folder and "include" your new file in the fax as if it were a photo. Voilà!!! Works every time!!!!

Am I supposed to be receiving an email confirmation that the fax went through? I sent two test faxes that seemed to transmit but never showe up on the fax machine I sent them to. Would like more settings- save freq #s, address book integration. The limit of one fax per six hours is a bit stringent as I regularly fax to a handful of #s and thus effectively limits me to one or two faxes per workday.

I have chosen both London and Milan, but everytime I try and buy a number subscription I get the message that no product was found and an error message saying that my purchase was not successfully completed and I am encouraged to try again, which I have done several times :)

When I exit out of the application, all information is lost. I must re-enter all of it. It would be great to have a "save draft" button.

Ability to add documents and images from iDisk or similar sources would be awesome! And of course PDF support with it. I want, and I mean really want, to love your app. There is a lot of potential. Does almost everything I want now, but need to add pro functions as an OPTION within one app. I, like others I'm sure, don't want 2 or 3 apps for the same thing. What I mean is free faxes as in IFAD and ability to pay on the fly when I need to fax a PDF file, but not two seperate apps to accomplish this. Still I like the concept.

Since there is not available to natively send a pdf document it would be a solution to get a photo of the document and attach it. You have that option but you resize the image to smaller so that solution doesn't work.

I don't like that I can only send 1 fax to the same number ever six hours. Not good for real business use. I would also like to have better quality on the info being sent.

I used iFax Pro for the first time to send an important fax. I need to retain a fax log but I can't see any way to get a detailed fax log showing that the fax was successfull, pages, date and time, etc. I need to print this log. History shows only the date but no way to export or print a log. This is a must for me.

This is an interesting app but it suffers from 2 serious bugs. There doesn't seem to be any way to exit the Preview pane without force quitting the app and, more seriously, even when a fax is sent and correctly received the app still lists it in Activity pane as unsent, so it's impossible to know if it's working. (I sent the test fax to myself, otherwise I'd still be no wiser.) Sort out these two problems and this could be an excellent app. Pat

I am currently using a different faxing app. I would ditch that app and buy this one if it came with the following features: -If it took advantage of the new iOS feature where, when I receive a PDF through Mail, I can select "Open in..." and open in this app. Currently it only allows me to open in iBooks or Docs to Go. -If it removed the "Powered by iFax" logo on the bottom of the cover sheet. If I am paying per fax through in-app purchases, I do not want ads on my coversheet. It makes me look unprofessional. Thanks Chris

I have a few points to add in the next update. 1: Time in history. 2: vaild point time when the fax is received ( This is on the of the pages ). I live in Australia and it showed up overseas time.

Hi, I was on the chat earlier getting help with my issure. I can't post comments on my earlier thread for some reason so I'm posting a new. I still can't fax to the number 4539***89. It is a Danish fax number and the fax is set up and connected properly. The fax doesn't ring on the other. It just says in ifax that the number is not valid.

I sent a test fax to my own number and the fax comes in totally black and sends the fax twice. I know when i took the pic it was under bright conditions. I tried again and the same thing happened again. Is there anything i can do to fix that? I think this is a great app but with some bugs that can be fixed. As far as i can tell as of now ifax is useless to me. Any tips would be appreciated

everytime i try to use the program, the restrictions won't let me, I sent one test fax once. Ever since it keeps saying "Cannot send to same # more than once in 6 hours" even though it's been well over 24 hours. Then it offers "upgrade to ifax pro" but there is no ifax pro. I click the link, it goes to the app search window and says no such app found. I come online to the website, still no such thing available. I can't send more than 3 pages, nor to the same # unless i upgrade. But there is no upgrade feature. I'm pretty confused.
